But don't expect her to always be there unless you feel you are considered a close friend by her. - Intellegent: Lucía is just the girl to look over at if you want to cheat on your test, but this is only because she was pushed to be this smart by her own willpower. - Sporty: With a father who was a famous althlete, Lucía inherited her father's love for sports. She often talks about football (soccer), and often plays with the locals in whatever country she winds up in. However, because she moved around so much, Lucía never found herself with time to join an official team. - Romantic: Although Lucía has never had any interest to fall in love, she was always a lover of romantic literature. She doesn't show this side of herself very often, but that is mostly because she's never had a real boyfriend to share these feelings with. - Hard-working: Although physical labor to benefit others has never been Lucía's thing, once she has something she sets her mind to, she is very capable. NEGATIVE: - Stubborn: Lucía has never been good at taking orders from anyone, and refuses to be moved. She is hard-headed and will never let anyone change her mind by claiming she's "wrong". - Hot tempered: Lucía is one of few girls who will absolutely blow up at you if you push her to that point. She doesn't take people being (her definition of) obnoxious or disruptive. You know when she's angry with you, because she makes sure to make it very clear. - Independent: Or, more accurately, one could say that she refuses to take help from anyone. Lucía likes to believe she can do things her own way, never asking for anyone's help or opinion. That's why this is put under the "Negatives". - Bossy: Lucía likes to feel that she's the one in control of a situation, but is constantly underestimated by those who don't feel that she is capable of being in the lead and giving orders. This side of her is often seen as annoying and is often unwanted, whether she means well or not. - Egotistical: Although not seen as a dependent young woman, Lucía still cares what people think of her. She feels that she has to be the best at everything, and that she is the best at everything. She's vain and cares about keeping up appearances more than anything. LIKES: - Pastries: Lucía has had a love for sickenly-sweet pastries, dripping in jams and syrups as long as she can remember. She's always been a bit of a glutton when it comes to eating these unhealthy baked goods. - Cooking: A love for the finest foods should always come paired with the ability to cook said foods for yourself. Lucía enjoys inviting people over to try her foods, because she loves the praise she gets when she knows she's done well. - Soccer: Or as Lucía prefers to call it, fútbol. She has enjoyed sports her whole life, passed down to her through her father's athletic career. - Winning: As someone who loves to feel that she is in the spotlight, Lucía obviously enjoys to feel that she has done her best and succeeded. She has a habit of rubbing it in other peoples' faces when she knows she has won. - Keeping up with appearances: Lucía can never have a hair out of place. She is rather vain and prefers to look her best at all times. Not really to prove anything or impress anyone, either - she simply hates it when she's not looking her best. DISLIKES: - Being shown disrespect: Lucía can't stand being mocked or disrespected, particularly in the presence of other people. - The concept of social status: Surprisingly enough, Lucía doesn't like the idea of having a "popular" crowd who shuns the unpopular folk. This is really only because she knows how it feels to be small and worth less than other people around her. - Her own height: Lucía stands little over 5'0'' tall, and thus is seen as less of a force to be reckoned with. It's one of her biggest insecurities. - Losing: As a counterpart to her love of winning, Lucía absolutely hates admitting defeat. To her, losing is never an option. - Feeling ignored: Lucía has to enjoy the spotlight among her peers, otherwise she feels like nobody cares. She's a very needy young woman who thrives on constant attention from her superiors and those around her. OTHER INFORMATION HISTORY: Lucía was born as a sibling to many other children, all living under the roof of a single father. Their father was a native of Spain, who had all of his children with a woman who was living in Argentina. However, the two were never married, and this made it easy for the woman to walk out on Lucía's father and never look back, not even for the sake of all of the children she bore for him. Lucía was too young to even remember much about her mother, so as far as she's concerned, she has no mother-figure in her life, and never has. Surprisingly, it didn't take Lucía's father to fall in love again. As an athlete who travelled all across Europe, he went to Italy for a tour, where he met the woman he was sure he wanted to marry. This caused complications to Lucía's home life, as she permanently left her home in Argentina and was constantly moving between different houses in Spain and Italy as her father rendezvoused with the woman he had fallen for. Neither Lucía nor her older or younger siblings liked the thought of their father dating and dragging them back and forth between two different countries, as he was already busy enough with his soccer career (Which he eventually retired from in luxury to spend more time with his lover). However, they had absolutely no say in it, and instead complied with whatever their father wanted of them. Lucía was the eldest of her siblings to follow in their father's footsteps and grow a love for sports, particularly soccer. She was constantly playing with the local kids in her new neighborhoods she moved between from morning till dusk, but unfortunately for her, Lucía never stayed in one country long enough to join an official juvenile soccer team. However, when her father finally managed to settle down with the woman he had loved so in Italia, Lucía finally had her dream, and was able to join a team of her own at age 14. Finally, after years of training and a couple goals in several annual soccer teams, Lucía was recognized for her efforts and love for soccer, and was offered a scholarship to join Accademia Mondiale by age 17. This is her first year in the Academy, but - to her great pleasure - Lucía is eager to prove herself and work her way up to be known as a star player of the school's official soccer team. At first, it was a lot to handle, juggling both her studies and her love for soccer, but over the course of this year, it has slowly become easier to handle, and less of a hassle for her. HOBBIES: - Reading/writing: To the surprise of many, Lucía has always had a passion for literature and the arts, particularly romance novels. As mentioned before, she constantly tries to hide this hobby of hers from others. She would've already begun writing her own stories by now, if it were not for her fear of being judged. - Soccer: On a much less surprising level, Lucía loves sports, and it's her favorite passtime of all... yeah, I think we've gotten through this already. - Watching old films: Lucía loves the old, cheesy romance-genre movies from the 1940s, on up. She tends to watch them late at night in her dorm, figuring that what people don't know about her in her passtime won't hurt them, and neither will she. - Dancing: Lucía already has the nimble dancing feet down from her years of playing soccer. When she's not dancing herself, she enjoys going to the theatre and watching other people dance, particularly the Tango, or the Flamenco. - Studying: To prove that she can balance both her studies and her sports, Lucía constantly has her nose in a text book to make sure she keeps up with what the rest of her class is learning. She doesn't want to give the impression that she doesn't take her studies seriously and prefers her sports overall (Although she sort of does), for fear that she'll be kicked out of the Academy and sent back to live with her father, stepmother, and her many brothers and sisters. by rimy ♥ of btn! |
