Natalya walked into the auditorium, her face not showing a hint of emotion. She felt rather indifferent in being accepted into this school, but surely there had to be a few people who were happy, perhaps even upset. 'Whatever, at some point I might be...removed...anyway...' she thought as she glanced around. The place seemed nice enough so far, but it didn't quite suit her tastes. 'Looks like someone is trying too hard to make a good impression on the other students...' her mind went on. Of course she wouldn't flat out complain, she'd let someone else do it.
She walked over to a table, scenting something rather...different than what she's usually around. The Belorussian stared at the food, not sure if it was even edible. It looked too good to be real. And the smell...it just made her mouth water. 'Well, a bite couldn't hurt...just as long as you don't end up stuffing your face Nat...' she mentally told herself as she picked up some sort of appetizer. She hesitantly took a bite, a small smile crossing her face. The taste was just...wonderful, nothing like what she had back home. Of course, she made sure to get rid of that smile as quickly as it had come.
She continued to nibble on her piece of food, still glancing around. Then a...boy walked up to her. He had to be a student, no? She just looked at him, not saying a word before looking away. Surely the other got the message that she wasn't interested. But alas, the boy continued to try to strike up a conversation, even adding a few compliments here and there. 'So he's hitting on me... Does he think I'm the kind of girl to be sought after? That I am someone who'd let myself be wrapped around his finger?' she thought, glaring at the other. Well, things escalated rather quickly.
It happened almost in an instant, a dozen or so knives pinning the kid to the wall. He looked terrified, not to her surprise. No one would expect a girl like her to have them stuck to a wall in no time, and with knives no less. "Next time, I won't miss," she muttered, pulling the knifes out and returning them to their hiding places. The kid ran off, learning his lesson. Natalya was not someone to mess with. At all.
The Belorussian turned her attention back to the snacks, not really caring what people thought about what she did. Well, for the most part. 'It's not like I hurt him...ruined part of his clothes, yes, not nothing lethal...' she thought, picking up some cracker and taking a small bite out of it. 'Hopefully today will unfold to be better...' she thought.
Being social was out of the question. To her, either everyone was a snob because they had money or they were full of themselves for having some sort of talent. Of course, she could be wrong. There might be some decent people, however few she thought there might be. 'It's doesn't really matter, they're just a waste of my time either way...' she thought with a small frown. If only her brother was around. Surely everything would be better if he was here. But from what she could see so far, he wasn't. 'He could...there does seem to be a lot of people...' she thought, trying to glance over the crowd. But to no avail, no brother in her line of sight.
'Well, if he is here, perhaps I'll see him soon...' she thought. But in the mean time, what was she supposed to do? She doubted anyone wanted to talk to her after the stunt she pulled. And she couldn't exactly just stand there and eat the whole time. Though, other than eating and socializing, not much else to do. Perhaps somewhere along the line she'll be bored enough to talk to someone near her age...possibly.
